Implantation hair
The implantation of artificial hair is an innovative procedure that effectively addresses the problem of baldness or insufficient hair density for those who:
- are unable to undergo hair transplantation for various reasons;
- do not have enough hair in the donor area or wish to enhance the results of a hair transplant procedure.
Implantation technology
The procedure of implanting artificial hair differs significantly from traditional transplantation. Artificial hair is implanted using a special implanter specifically designed for this purpose. We offer our patients the opportunity to see and feel the artificial hair on our simulator before the procedure, allowing them to be assured of its quality and natural appearance.
Selection of artificial hair
One of the key advantages of artificial hair implantation is the ability to precisely match the natural color and texture. We use two to three closely related shades to achieve the most natural look. The hair is available in various lengths -15 cm, 30 cm, 45 cm – as well as different textures: straight, wavy, and curly. This allows us to select the optimal option for each patient, taking into account their individual characteristics.
How is the procedure performed?
The implantation procedure begins with local anesthesia to ensure maximum comfort for the patient. It is important to note that the implantation is carried out only in areas of the scalp where there are no muscles (i.e., the upper-front zone) to ensure secure hair fixation. The hair is implanted into the deep structures of the scalp, allowing it to remain securely in place for up to 5 years.
Post-procedure care
After implantation, it is crucial to provide gentle care for the hair, especially during the first two to three weeks. It is recommended to support the hair with your hand while washing or brushing to avoid accidental pulling. Each year, about 10% of the hair should be added to maintain density, as some artificial hair may fall out over time.
